ELAINE NICHOLS ATTAINS PAYROLL INDUSTRY DESIGNATION
Nashville, Tenn. (May 16, 2008) — Elaine Nichols of XMi Human Resource Solutions, a full service human resource outsourcing firm, has been awarded the designation of Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) by the American Payroll Association, joining more than 9,000 CPPs nationwide.
The CPP designation signifies a high level of professional experience and competence in the payroll field and is regarded as the most respected distinction in the payroll industry. As a CPP award recipient, Nichols demonstrated proficiency and experience in all facets of the payroll industry, including operations, taxation, systems, accounting and management, and successfully completed a comprehensive four-hour examination.
A resident of Nashville, Tenn., Nichols is payroll manager for XMi Human Resource Solutions where she oversees the management of over 70 different employee groups with payrolls exceeding $30 million and 1,000 employees. Nichols has 30 years of experience in the payroll industry and has been with XMi for the past 10 years where she began as a payroll specialist.
