WALKER MANAGEMENT GROUP CHANGES NAME TO XMi ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT

Nashville, Tenn. - Walker Management Group, a 19-year-old association management company that specializes in managing international, national, and state professional societies and trade associations and their chapters, has recently changed its name to XMi Association Management.

Located in downtown Nashville, Tenn., Davidson County, XMi Association Management was prompted to make the name change to better align with its parent company, XMi, said company officials.

"The name change was necessary to take advantage of the newest marketing and branding initiatives that our parent company, XMi, is undertaking," said Dee Ann Walker, president of XMi Association Management who has over 25 years of association management experience.

Walker founded Walker Management Group, Inc. in 1987. In 2003, it was acquired by XMi Holdings, today known as XMi. The recent name change for Walker Management was effective April 1, 2006.
